Carissa Chesanek is an NYC-based writer with a Master’s in Journalism and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School. Her work has been seen in Decanter, InsideHook, Forbes, Whisky Advocate, Imbibe, BroadwayWorld.com, Food Network, VinePair, Miami Herald, and Zagat.com, where she served as a local restaurant editor. She is a mentor with Memorial Sloan Kettering's Visible Ink writing program and a co-host of the reading series Sunday Salon in NYC.
