Carissa Chesanek is an NYC-based writer with a Master’s in Journalism and a recent Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School. Her work has been seen in Whisky Advocate, Imbibe, BroadwayWorld.com Food & Wine, Food Network, Forbes Travel Guide, VinePair, Miami Herald, and Zagat.com, where she served as a local restaurant editor. She is a mentor with Memorial Sloan Kettering's Visible Ink writing program and a co-host of the reading series Sunday Salon in NYC.
